  • Position Summary: The Imaging Manager is responsible for the operations of the imaging departments and ensures effective and efficient clinic processes that support the delivery of excellent patient care. 

Essential Functions

  • Manages the daily operations of all imaging departments and modalities including mammography, general imaging, and bone density.
  • Management of imaging personnel including staffing, recruitment, performance reviews, training, and development.
  • Responsible for department compliance, safety, and training protocols.
  • Ensures quality control/quality assurance tasks are completed.
  • Responsible for annual inspection and re-accreditation processes.
  • Implements department workflow guidelines and policies.
  • Maintains department budget, equipment purchases requests, and vendor relationships.
  • Delivers patient care and completes all regular technologist duties for all modalities.
  • Communicates and collaborates with employees, management, and physicians as appropriate, including Radiologists and hospital staff outside of Stellis Health.

Position Summary: The RN, Triage position is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established protocols within scope of practice. The RN will serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff.

Essential Functions

Position Summary: The Accountant/Financial Analyst is responsible for accounting operations for Stellis Health. The Accountant/Analyst ensures effective and efficient delivery of financial reporting and provides sound financial analyses for decision makers.

 Essential Functions  

  • Works closely with Accounting Manager to provide reliable financial reporting.
  • Responsible for daily banking activities.
  • Manages non-patient accounts receivable transactions.
  • Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Prepares financial statements and reports.
  • Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, audit, and tax return.
  • Performs account reconciliations.
  • Collaborates with payroll.

Summary: The phlebotomist performs clinical laboratory specimen collections, which require a degree of skill that commensurate with the education, training, and technical abilities.  These procedures involve limited exercise of independent judgment.  The phlebotomist may also perform, on a limited basis, testing which are considered waived.

Position Summary:  The Insurance Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate billing of dedicated patient accounts.

Essential Functions

  •   Process, edit, and submit claims to insurance companies and other payers.
  • Verification of patient insurance coverage.
  • Track and collect accounts receivable.
  • Calculate insurance payments, patient payments, and adjustments to accounts.
  • Process and post payments.
  • Communication and correspondence with insurance carriers and other payers to ensure timely billing and follow up on unpaid claims.

  • Correct and resubmit claims for processing.

Qualifications

Position Summary:  The Coding Specialist is responsible for reviewing both electronic and written documentation of clinical visits and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural coding using ICD-10 and CPT – 4 methodologies.  

Essential Functions

  • Reviews provider documentation and assign codes that support service rendered.
  • Supports business office staff with claim denial appeals.
  • Monitors payer coding requirements to ensure billing compliance.
  • Serves as a point of contact for providers that have coding questions.
  • Performs level of service audits on random providers as assigned by Business Director.

  • Keeps current on work queue assignments in EMR practice management system.

Serves as the primary liaison between the ordering provider, third party payer, clinic departments, and the patient.
